Overview

This role supports high-volume recruiting for Assemblers and Manufacturing Associates across U.S. production facilities. The recruiter will be based in Latin America, operating 100% remotely while partnering with the U.S. recruiting team and site HR leads.

The client is a top competitor in the lighting control and automation systems industry, manufacturing advanced electrical and electronic products used globally in commercial, residential, and industrial environments.

The recruiter’s focus is to build a strong pipeline of hands-on production and assembly talent, ensuring alignment with quality, precision, and manufacturing excellence standards required in this sector.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for Assemblers, Manufacturing Associates, Production Technicians, and related hourly manufacturing positions.
  • Conduct detailed intake calls to define job requirements, preferred skills, and shift coverage needs per facility.
  • Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media, referral networks, and resume databases.
  • Screen candidates for technical aptitude, manual assembly experience, quality awareness, and reliability.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage communication with candidates, and ensure smooth scheduling with site HR and hiring teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records and pipelines in the ATS.
  • Support onboarding readiness, including background check coordination and start date confirmation.
  • Share weekly progress updates with the U.S. recruiting lead, providing data on pipeline volume, fill rate, and key challenges.

Target Candidate Profile

Core Experience:

  • 1–5 years of experience working in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments, ideally in electrical, electronics, or light industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiar with hands-on production work, small parts assembly, and basic tools or equipment used in manufacturing lines.
  • Stable work history with reliable attendance and safety record.

Ideal Attributes:

  • Understands the U.S. hourly labor market, particularly for light manufacturing roles.
  • Experience recruiting for hourly, high-volume positions in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Excellent communication in English and strong organizational skills.
  • Proactive sourcing mindset — not reliant solely on inbound applicants.
  • Comfortable working independently, tracking data, and meeting volume targets remotely.

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain consistent submittal volume and fill rates aligned with production demands.
  • Ensure candidate quality and job readiness meet client expectations.
  • Maintain full data integrity in the ATS and provide clear weekly reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with U.S.-based HR and operations teams to manage candidate flow and hiring priorities.
  • Demonstrate responsiveness, urgency, and professional communication with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
