The Sr Analyst - Digital Product Owner for Ally’s technology operating model (ATOM) platform, is a key contributor to driving adoption and strategic delivery through the creation and enhancement of product features. This role champions product management best practices, prioritizes the product backlog, and refines requirements to empower engineering teams.

As part of the Technology Program Management Office, this role is essential to delivering a product that enables the Enterprise ATOM Methodology Standard, and to support Ally’s strategic goals, through a balance of risk management and innovation.

The Work Itself

  • Product Backlog Management:Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • User Story Development: Write clear, actionable user stories that define functionality, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Agile Routine Ownership: Facilitate sprint planning, refinement, elaboration sessions, retrospectives, and other scrum routines to support ongoing process improvement.
  • Tactical Decision-Making: Make day-to-day decisions on product features, priorities, and trade-offs to advance development and deliver value.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive product documentation, including feature specs, release notes, and process guides.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product progress, updates, and changes to stakeholders, leveraging demos and reporting tools.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and report product metrics using dashboards and feedback to guide improvements.
  • Voice of the Customer: Champion customer experience by integrating feedback and advocating for user-centric design.
  • Other Product Owner Activities: Perform additional duties as required to support product delivery and team objectives.

Skills

The Skills You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in product ownership or digital product management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
  • Familiarity with digital product analytics, customer feedback integration, and enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with Figma, LogRocket, LaunchDarkly, and Contentful a benefit.
  • Self-motivated, with proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred:

  • Experience with integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) models into products or processes.

Base Pay Range: $85000 - $150000 USD

An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
