We have an immediate job opening for a Senior Engineer with a 30+ year old publically-traded global medical device manufacturer. This is a critical role on a dynamic team (referred to as “the elites”) that focus on new product introduction, transfer/validation, and implementation of improved manufacturing techniques for a crucial facility.

- Business develops, manufactures, and distributes precision medical devices used in critical interventional and diagnostic procedures.
- Seeking experienced engineer with NPI, transfer, validation, and design/develop manufacturing for prototypes

- Design and develop processes and assembly methods for fabrication of state-of-the-art medical devices.
- Experience with IQ, OQ, PQ
- Experience with preparing project plans, specifications, and schedules for development
- Ability to write and review standard operating procedures (SOP), drawings, protocols, reports and ECNs
- Analysis of tests (design specifications and objectives)
- Translate product designs into prototypes and finished goods via design of manufacturing processes. Implement process improvements to reduce scrap and improve product quality.
- Transfer existing product lines from external contract manufacturers to reduce cost and improve process control.
- Communicate with internal customers and management teams regarding project status and delivery timelines. Ensure alignment of all stakeholders to drive projects to completion.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree a plus
- Min 4+ years experience developing, designing and troubleshooting manufacturing processes related to medical device manufacturing
- Skills to perform routine analysis of test results in relation to design specifications and test objectives
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and mentorship of developing talent
- Demonstrated ability to meet organizational goals and schedules while making key decisions relating to the manufacturing process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
