Job Description


Are you a visionary Creative Director who can move hearts, shift culture, and build brands that live far beyond the campaign?

An international, award-winning creative agency (think global network calibre – WPP / Forsman-style ambition) is expanding its footprint in Riyadh and is looking for a world-class Creative Director to lead the charge.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the creative narrative of some of the most exciting brands in Saudi Arabia and the wider region, at a time when the Kingdom is redefining what’s possible in culture, entertainment, and innovation.

The Role

You will be the creative heartbeat of the Riyadh office – leading concept development, elevating the craft, and inspiring teams to deliver work that is strategically sharp, culturally resonant, and globally recognised.

  • Lead and own the creative vision across key accounts – from big brand platforms to integrated 360 campaigns.
  • Partner closely with Strategy, Account Management, and Production to deliver ideas that are both brave and effective.
  • Champion world-class storytelling across film, digital, social, experiential, and emerging platforms.
  • Mentor, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team (art, copy, design, content) to do the best work of their careers.
  • Present confidently to senior clients, defending bold ideas with clarity, data, and cultural insight.
  • Ensure the work is not only beautiful, but on-brief, on-brand, and commercially impactful.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re not just a “big ideas” person – you’re a builder of brands, teams, and culture. You understand the global creative language, but you think, feel, and create in Arabic.

Must-haves:

  • Fluent Arabic speaker with strong English – able to concept, write, and present in Arabic.
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in top-tier creative agencies, with at least 3–5 years in a Creative Director (or strong ACD ready to step up) role.
  • A portfolio that shows award-worthy, integrated work for major brands – ideally across sectors such as lifestyle, entertainment, tech, government, tourism, or FMCG.
  • Deep understanding of GCC / Saudi culture, trends, and consumer behaviour – and how to translate that into powerful creative platforms.
  • Proven experience leading teams, giving clear creative direction, and elevating the standard of work.
  • Comfortable in the room with C-suite clients – you can sell big ideas and build long-term trust.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience working within international network agencies or global creative environments.
  • Previous exposure to the Saudi market or wider MENA region.
  • Awards (Cannes, D&AD, Effies, Dubai Lynx, etc.) are a strong plus – but the thinking and craft in your book matter most.

Location, Relocation & Package

  • Base: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Salary: 52,000 – 59,000 SAR per month (depending on experience and portfolio strength)
  • Relocation: Open to candidates currently based anywhere in the GCC – full relocation support to Riyadh provided.
