We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Desk Engineer to join a fast-paced, fully remote IT support environment. This role involves providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance across client IT workstations, servers, peripherals, and network systems. The engineer will serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while maintaining productivity and service standards. With exposure to diverse technologies—including Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, and cloud-based platforms—this position offers an opportunity to grow expertise in IT support and service delivery. Accountabilities

  • Provide technical support for client IT environments, including workstations, servers, peripherals, and networking equipment
  • Answer incoming support requests, managing multiple tickets simultaneously while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot issues across Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, RDS, VMware ESXi, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktop, Veeam Backup, and other IT systems
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients through phone, email, and other channels to ensure timely resolution
  • Implement best practices, company core values, and IT service standards in all interactions
  • Document resolutions, troubleshoot logs, and provide guidance to clients as needed
  • Support MSP tools and applications such as ConnectWise, LabTech, and IT Glue as applicable


Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support or service desk roles with proficiency in workstation and server troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, RDS, VMware ESXi, Citrix, and cloud technologies (e.g., Office 365, Azure)
  • Experience with networking fundamentals, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless configuration
  • Familiarity with MSP applications and IT service management platforms is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and maintain high service levels in a remote work environment
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
