📅 Start date: January 2026

⏳ Duration: 6 months (initially)

💼 Hourly rate: TBD

About the Client

Our client is a globally leading, independent family-owned company specializing in B2B distribution of electrical products, solutions, and related services. With a network of 80 brands across 40 countries and over 45,000 employees, the Group is undergoing a major digital transformation to become the first fully digitalized and synchronized omnichannel B2B electrical distributor worldwide.

The Environment

You’ll be working within the Global SOC, which currently operates as a hybrid setup:

  • Internal resources: SOC Management, Incident Commander, CTI Expert
  • External partner: MSSP Orange

This setup requires someone who can navigate both internal and external dynamics, and bring structure, clarity, and alignment to SOC processes and documentation.

The Assignment

We are looking for a SOC Specialist with a strategic mindset and strong experience in process documentation within Security Operations environments. This role is focused on designing, formalizing, and standardizing SOC processes and incident playbooks — not on technical implementation.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and MSSP partners to gather input, align expectations, and produce clear, actionable documentation that supports the SOC’s operational maturity and global consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and formalize global SOC processes and incident playbooks
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and MSSP to gather input and align on best practices
  • Translate operational SOC activities into structured, standardized documentation
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and aligned with industry standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27035)
  • Facilitate workshops or interviews to understand current practices and improvement areas
  • Support internal knowledge transfer and training based on developed materials
  • Contribute to the strategic maturity of SOC operations through structured documentation

Your Profile

  • Experience in SOC environments with a focus on process improvement and documentation
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to take a strategic, structured and human-centered approach to documentation
  • Familiarity with incident response frameworks and SOC methodologies
  • Excellent written English and ability to simplify complex concepts
  • Certifications such as GCIH, CISSP, or similar are a plus, but not required

Soft Skills

  • Strategic thinking and logical reasoning
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to ask the right questions and build consensus
  • Structured and detail-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments
