About the Role:
As a Microsoft System Administrator, you will be part of our IT Operations team, working closely with Helpdesk and Linux Admins, Network Engineers and Cybersecurity, as well as the rest of the business teams. You’ll work on optimising our user infrastructure with the flexibility to be creative in your solution designs.

Responsibilities:
- Engineer and maintain a global Microsoft Directory infrastructure that incorporates security best practices, business continuity, high availability, and scalability.
- Foreseeing and preventing issues before they arise and implement permanent fixes when problems do occur.
- Automate, standardise and document IT processes to optimise work structures.
- Support internal teams on hardware and software issues.
- Perform periodic audits of the environment, enforcing security and industry standards.
- Perform remote troubleshooting to diagnose production issues
- Manage the life cycle of a server and build and deploy new solutions.
- Performance monitoring and system capacity management.
Requirements:
- Experience working in Microsoft systems, i.e., Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra and integrated on premise.
- A degree in computer science, engineering, ICT or a related field.
- Ability to manage multiple projects that span multiple teams to successful completion.
- Proven experience building effective and scalable systems, by utilising infrastructure as code (IaC), PowerShell scripting and Autopilot.
- Windows desktop and server configuration management skills.
- Understanding of networking, authentication, and identity management principles
- Experience with Linux administration is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
