About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting our staff’s professional development. You will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, managing HR functions such as policy development, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of handling multiple priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on HR management experience
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity, or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; regularly update HR policies and procedures
  • Manage HRIS functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, reporting, and employee record management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, facilitating sensitive conversations and mediating conflicts with confidentiality
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate screening to interviewing and extending offers
  • Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires complete all requirements in a timely manner
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify professional development opportunities for staff
  • Maintain accurate documentation of HR activities and ensure data integrity within HR systems
