Location: New Bremen, OH (4 days onsite/1 day remote)

Relocation: Full Relo package or Sign On Bonus to cover costs

Salary 70K-140K (based on level of experience)


About the Role

A client of Insight Global is looking to build up their Business Intelligence team and hiring BI developers ranging from entry level to senior level. You will be joining an existing team of 20 BI developers who are responsible for everything from ad hoc reporting, driving insights, KPI reporting, etc. The goal is to bring on 3-5 additional BI developers to help meet the demand of the growing organization. This role is ideal for someone looking to get their foot in the door with a global company to someone who is looking to continue their career with opportunity for growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Analytics: Design, create, test, and maintain reports and ad-hoc queries for internal departments. Optimize dashboards for performance, automation, and usability. Support end users and resolve reporting issues.
  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Standardize business reports and data across the organization. Communicate findings and project status to management.
  • Data Modeling & Integration: Build and enhance data models and extraction processes from multiple databases. Support ETL processes and recommend new metrics for business improvement.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with BI tools and industry best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and self-study.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • Strong experience with SQL and Power BI.
  • Management or team leadership experience for the senior level roles
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work onsite in New Bremen, OH (4 days/week, 1 flex day).


Preferred Skills & Plusses

  • Experience with SSRS, SSIS, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and advanced visualization tools.
  • Industry experience (manufacturing, logistics, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to implement row-level security and application security models in Power BI.
  • Custom DAX expression/function development.
  • No experience with Business Objects required.
