Job Title: Sr HR Operations Analyst

Duration: 12 months


The role is a strategic and agile resource embedded within the HR Project Management Office (PMO). The role provides immediate, flexible support to project managers across various needs, acting as a project "force multiplier" to accelerate delivery and maintain momentum.

Overview of the team:

The HR Project Management Office (PMO) manages key initiatives, systems changes, and operational projects across the HR function.

Key team goals:

The role directly supports goals related to driving efficiency, enhancing project speed and governance, and improving operational excellence through high-quality deliverables (e.g., decks, mock-ups, documentation).

Key projects or initiatives for the role:

Projects span across a full HR Portfolio of Technology, Analytics & Total Rewards. This role would help in providing immediate, flexible support, including light project management duties (tracking, coordination, logistics).

Success metrics or KPIs for this role:

  • Project Velocity: Demonstrated ability to remove roadblocks and manage urgent, non-standard tasks to keep projects on schedule.
  • Quality: Accurate functional requirements and process maps.
  • Versatility: Measured by the breadth of different high-priority project support tasks performed.
  • Efficiency: Measurable reduction in manual work or time spent on tasks due to AI/automation adoption.
  • Tool Adoption: Successful and seamless integration and utilization of new AI platforms within the PMO.

Location and remote work options: Fully remote.

Time zone preferences or travel requirements: Compatible with ET time zone.

Primary responsibilities (daily/weekly):

  • Project Support: Providing immediate, flexible support, including light project management duties (tracking, coordination, logistics).
  • Project Deliverables: Developing high-quality outputs like executive presentation decks, business process diagrams, and system mock-ups/wireframes.
  • Data Interpretation: Utilizing existing HR data and PMO metrics to interpret trends, diagnose pain points, and inform project recommendations. This role does not require back-end query writing or detailed report development.
  • Process Optimization: Conducting detailed process mapping, gap analysis (BSA), and documenting functional requirements and user stories.

Must-have skills/qualifications (technical, soft skills, certifications, tools):

  • Experience: Proven experience in Business Systems Analysis (BSA) or a highly versatile project support role. Ability to create executive-level presentations/decks, requirements solicitation, consultation & documentation, and system mock-ups/wireframes.
  • Tools: Proficiency in presentation and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Google Suite, or similar), and practical familiarity with LLMs (Gemini preferred) and automation platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional versatility and resilience, high tolerance for ambiguity, strong ability to interpret existing data for recommendations, and light project management capabilities. Strong communication (verbal and written), consultative partnership focus, ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences (similar to a project manager).

  • Ideal experience level (years, leadership, industries): Experience level consistent with "Proven experience in Business Systems Analysis" and managing complexity. (Suggesting 3-5+ years in a relevant role such as BSA or PMO).
