What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and update IT Service Continuity Management guidelines to align with business needs, regulatory requirements, and operational priorities
  • Communicate the Continuity Management framework and regulatory updates to stakeholders, while collaborating with internal partners to ensure compliance with audit principles and cybersecurity policies
  • Define Continuity Management controls, KPIs, tools, templates, and guidelines to standardize processes across Knauf, and support business units in implementing continuity measures and recovery strategies
  • Ensure the IT Service Continuity Plan (ITSCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) are in place for critical IT services and applications, aligned with business priorities, and updated based on testing results, business changes, and emerging risks
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), coordinate continuity and recovery testing, develop a scoring methodology to assess DRP effectiveness, and provide training and awareness programs to stakeholders on Continuity Management requirements and responsibilities

Who you are

  • Hold a university degree in Computer science, IT security, or Risk Management, or possess equivalent professional experience
  • Extensive experience in IT Service Continuity Management, IT emergency management, or disaster recovery, with technical knowledge of databases, operating systems, and networks in both cloud and on-premises environments
  • Proven expertise in driving global governance rollouts and effectively engaging stakeholders across region
  • Strong ability to collaborate with IT, business, and audit teams to ensure compliance, system integrity, and process improvement
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multitasking under pressure, with a continuous improvement mindset and excellent English and German communication skills
