Job Description


BettingJobs is working with an exciting iGaming operator who are seeking to hire a talented Head of Marketing Data to join their team in San Jose.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the CMO and lead the marketing data function, defining and executing a unified data strategy aligned with commercial goals.
  • Build and manage a team of analysts and BI specialists focused on marketing performance and ROI.
  • Own the marketing data stack, ensuring end-to-end visibility from spend to revenue across all channels (Adfuel, MyAffiliates, Xtremepush, CRM, SEO, etc.).
  • Oversee data collection, tracking, modeling, and dashboards for core metrics (impressions, clicks, FTDs, deposits, retention, LTV).
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and Finance to align data structures, pipelines, and P&L transparency.
  • Partner with Paid Media and CRM on attribution models, forecasting, and performance measurement.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly executive reports and dashboards highlighting key KPIs and insights.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive marketing and business strategy.
  • Lead campaign performance reviews and continuous optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement new analytics tools, automation, and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and commercial accountability.


Requirements:

  • 8–10+ years in marketing analytics, BI, or performance data (iGaming, fintech, or digital marketing preferred).
  • Proven leadership of marketing data or analytics teams with direct commercial impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Advanced skills in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker; strong SQL and GA4 expertise.
  • Experience with Funnel.io, Snowflake, and multi-channel data integrations.
  • Strong Excel and reporting automation proficiency.
  • Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills; confident communicating with executives.
  • Deep understanding of marketing KPIs, attribution, and growth levers.
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and performance-focused.
  • Full-time, on-site role in Costa Rica (relocation support available).
  • Fluent English required.
