Senior Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience to lead our complex web and software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, specific experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), and outstanding English communication skills.

You will be the vital link between our international clients and our in-house development teams, driving projects from initial concept through to final delivery. This role requires a willingness to relocate to Batam and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

• End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage the entire project lifecycle, including planning, scope definition, resource allocation, execution, quality assurance, and delivery.
• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical contact for clients, translating their business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and project roadmaps for the development team.
• CMS Project Management: Oversee the implementation, migration, and customization of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, AEM, or similar) ensuring they meet client requirements and technical standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, concise, and proactive communication with all stakeholders (internal and external) in fluent English. This includes running status meetings, providing regular progress reports, and managing expectations.
• Team Coordination: Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and QA analysts, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality output.
• Risk & Resource Management: Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and issues. Develop and implement mitigation plans and manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of our project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Project Management role within the tech or software development industry.
• English Fluency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are mandatory.
• Relocation: Must be willing and able to relocate to Batam, Indonesia.
• CMS Experience: Demonstrable experience managing projects involving the implementation or customization of Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Technical Acumen: A strong technical background with a solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs), and system architecture. You must be comfortable discussing technical details with developers.
• Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Tools: Hands-on experience with project management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello, MS Project).

• Agency/Consultancy Background: Previous experience working in a fast-paced digital agency or IT consultancy environment is highly desirable.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant project management certifications.
• Client-Facing Experience: A strong track record of managing client relationships and acting as the primary point of contact.
