Your Key Responsibilities

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Engineer to manage and support projects in line with Schaeffler procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure project objectives related to quality, schedule, and cost are met while promoting continuous improvement and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for project administration and ensuring achievement of agreed project objectives (content, quality, schedule, cost).
  • Manage project budgets, identify and control risks early, and provide technical leadership to project team members. Regularly report project status and escalate issues as needed.
  • Establish project organization, qualification frameworks, and develop project management culture within the business area.
  • Lead project reviews, lessons learned sessions, and coordinate with stakeholders through meetings such as NPM and gateway reviews.
  • Oversee project management targets, compliance with processes, and ensure team members are trained accordingly.
  • Develop project strategies to solve problems and meet defined goals.
  • Manage project teams in coordination with functional managers.
  • Support 3D workplace simulation (MTM) and Time & Motion studies.
  • Manage production cost activities, including RFQ (Request for Quotation), SQV (Standard Quotation Value), and GPC (Group Production Cost).
  • Lead ratio and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure implementation of group policies and local instructions.
  • Guarantee timely and quality provision of production tools, and uphold inspection standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop floor and office in accordance with 5S principles.
  • Support production relocation projects as a sub-project leader.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure safety compliance.
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement projects related to quality, safety, and health.
  • Design and fabricate small equipment to improve quality, reduce cost, cycle time, and HCO.
  • Support development of manufacturing flow process innovations.
  • Facilitate localization of purchased parts transitioning from outsourcing/import.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Automotive, or related field).
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in manufacturing plant activities.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing and industrial engineering processes.
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and spoken).
  • Experience in data analysis and preparing cost-saving proposals.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
