About The Role
The People Data Analyst at Proofpoint will play a pivotal role in transforming people and talent acquisition data into actionable insights that support strategic HR initiatives and overall business objectives. This position involves analyzing complex datasets, designing interactive dashboards using Power BI, and collaborating across departments to enhance data-driven decision-making processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively
- Familiarity with people and talent acquisition data, HR metrics, and KPIs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional partnerships
- Experience in documenting data processes and use cases
- Understanding of data compliance and regulatory requirements related to data collection and sharing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond efficiently to ad hoc data requests
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Analyze people data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that inform HR strategies and initiatives
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards utilizing Power BI to visualize key metrics and insights
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and other business units to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights
- Outline, document, and refine data analytics processes, including data sharing and usage protocols
- Support HR projects such as Employee Listening, Performance Management, and Workforce Planning through data-driven analysis
- Implement improvements to data architecture and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations regarding data handling
- Lead training sessions for users on best practices for utilizing people data and visualization tools to enhance decision-making
- Manage ad-hoc data requests from stakeholders and develop self-service solutions to improve data accessibility and efficiency
