About The Company
Join one of the fastest-growing disruptors in the legal marketing industry, known for its bold, unconventional approach and meteoric growth. This organization has achieved triple-digit year-over-year expansion and earned national recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies.
With a mission to reinvent how legal services connect with consumers, the company combines a startup’s energy with a scaling enterprise’s structure — and it’s only getting started. We’re scaling fast — doubling headcount year-over-year — and we need a builder to design the people infrastructure that powers our next stage of growth.
- This is not a traditional HR role.
- You won’t be doing employee surveys or culture campaigns.
- You’ll be architecting systems, managing vendors, building teams and running the operations that keep payroll, benefits, and recruiting firing on all cylinders.
We’re seeking a Director of Talent Strategy to architect and scale the people infrastructure that powers our growth. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and optimizing the systems, processes, and partnerships that drive recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee engagement.
You’ll lead a small but mighty team — including talent acquisition, benefits, and sourcing professionals — while partnering closely with Finance, IT, and senior leadership to ensure operational excellence across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Talent Infrastructure & Recruiting Support
- Build and manage the infrastructure that fuels rapid hiring: ATS systems, vendor management, compliance, and documentation.
- Coordinate recruiting logistics — career fairs, college partnerships, LinkedIn and Indeed campaigns, and vendor relationships.
- Partner with external agencies, sourcing teams, and job boards to keep candidate pipelines full and efficient.
- Standardize recruiting workflows, templates, and data dashboards to support scalability.
- Oversee day-to-day payroll and benefits administration, currently managed under Finance.
- Act as the operational liaison between Finance, brokers, and benefits vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws in partnership with Legal.
- Own census data, reporting, and benefit program logistics.
- Serve as the connective tissue between Recruiting, Finance, and Legal — ensuring alignment and data accuracy across systems.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve the employee experience.
- Take ownership of key workforce projects (e.g., opening new office space, coordinating large-scale onboarding, or vendor transitions).
- A detail-obsessed operator who thrives on structure, checklists, and execution.
- Highly organized — you love systems, SOPs, and making chaos run smoothly.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-growing, ever-changing environment.
- Not an “HR person” — you’re an operations-minded problem solver with business instincts.
- A natural project manager or office manager type who takes ownership and figures things out.
- Confident managing vendors, coordinating across teams, and working directly with senior leadership.
- Bonus: Experience scaling distributed or international teams, especially in Latin America.
- 7–10+ years of experience in operations, recruiting administration, project management, or HR systems roles.
- Proven success building scalable processes in a fast-growth or entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, and talent-related technology (experience with Rippling a plus).
- Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong business judgment — comfortable balancing cost, compliance, and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
- High-impact role reporting directly to the CFO — real influence, no red tape.
- Join a company doubling in size every year, with huge opportunity for advancement.
- Fully remote environment — results matter more than hours.
- Culture built on three core values: Critical Thinking. Communication. Curiosity. #App
