About The Role

The HR Generalist at Cutsforth plays a vital role in acquiring technical talent to support our growth and innovation objectives. This full-time, exempt position is remote, requiring the candidate to reside within the United States, excluding applicants from California, Illinois, and New York. The primary focus is on sourcing, attracting, and hiring highly skilled engineers, developers, and technical specialists across various domains such as software development, cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, and DevOps. The HR Generalist will manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, collaborate with external recruiters when necessary, and support core HR functions including performance management, employee engagement, and policy development.

They will also contribute to maintaining HR policies, updating employee handbooks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company standards. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR capacity
  • Proven experience using LinkedIn Recruiter for sourcing candidates
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools
  • Strong understanding of technical roles such as software engineers, developers, and IT specialists
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks related to HR functions, including maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews for technical roles
  • Collaborate with external recruitment agencies and utilize innovative sourcing tools to attract top talent
  • Develop and update job descriptions, organizational charts, and talent management resources
  • Process employee status changes and respond to HR-related inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Ensure HR programs and policies comply with company standards and legal requirements
  • Research, develop, and recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Investigate HR compliance issues and communicate their implications to management
  • Partner with payroll and administrative teams on issues and special projects
  • Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations and performance management strategies
  • Promote a positive and inclusive company culture through HR initiatives and practices
  • Provide additional HR services and support as needed to ensure operational efficiency
