Salary : $125,344 - $134,527 (Plus 12% Super)

About The Role

The People and Culture (P&C) Division is responsible for providing strategic leadership, advice and operational implementation of human resource strategies relating to a diverse range of human resource and industrial relations functions across CHS. Working closely with CHS Divisions, the P&C portfolio delivers strategically aligned workforce solutions in areas including people, policy and strategies, change management, human resource management, Work Health and Safety, organisational development, diversity and inclusion, general clinical and leadership training, workforce planning, industrial and employee relations, pay and benefits, rewards and recruitment.

The Talent Acquisition team within the P&C Division focuses on the full lifecycle of recruitment including researching, sourcing, attraction, recruitment, and onboarding of selected workforce resources for CHS. The priorities for this team are driven by strategic and operational needs.

The Assistant Director will work closely with the Senior Director to lead the Talent Acquisition team in delivering a responsive and effective workforce supply for Canberra Health Services (CHS). This role involves supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives, while providing guidance and support to team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality talent acquisition services to prospective employees and outstanding customer service to hiring managers. Operating under broad direction, the Assistant Director will play a key role in managing day-to-day recruitment, human resources, and contract management activities, with a particular focus on the Corporate and Support Services divisions.
