We are looking for Transport Network Technician- 100% Remote (anywhere in the USA only)

The Network Technician will manage all AAV (Alternate Access Vendors/Telco) trouble tickets supporting multiple backhaul integration projects led by MITBH, including 10G BWU, CSR Rehomes, CIR Upgrades, and other related initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound calls from AAV vendors for troubleshooting circuit issues.
  • Coordinate with AAV/Telco teams to test and turn up new AAV circuits.
  • Track, document, and report all daily activities to T-Mobile and GTA management.
  • Ensure timely resolution of AAV-related issues impacting network performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to ensure project goals are met.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (5+ years in telecom network infrastructures).
  • Technical Experience:
  • Hands-on experience working with AAV/Telco on testing and turning up new AAV circuits.
  • Proven troubleshooting experience with NOC operations, circuit testing, and maintenance.
  • Prior experience managing order management and AAV maintenance tickets (required).
  • Familiarity with RFC 2544 testing requirements and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of modern wireless network architectures.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and drive issues to resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong organizational and reporting capabilities using tracking tools and databases.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint, Windows tools).
  • Preferred Systems Experience:
  • T-Mobile tools such as Spirent/VisionWorks, SLIPED, ATOMS, Pronghorn, and PIER.
