Salary: Up to $300,000 + equity package

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership over go-to-market strategy for an in-demand SaaS product from the ground up. With a recent round of Series A funding, they are ready to take the business to the next stage of growth and maturity. As a product, they have created a supportive ecosystem to solve a real pain point in modern engineering organizations, enabling engineering teams to work smarter, not harder and unlock new growth potentials in productivity, knowledge management and AI/LLM integrations.
As the Vice President, Marketing, you will help evolve their go-to-market strategy from the ground up, building the marketing function from a small team into a powerhouse. Defining and executing on the overall marketing strategy to accelerate growth across PLG, outbound and enterprise channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and scale multi-channel demand generation programs across paid, content, events, community and outbound to drive B2B pipelines and grow the brand in the industry.
- Build and lead a team across product marketing, content and growth marketing, fostering an inquisitive and experimental culture.
- Craft and roll out a multi-channel marketing playbook to build brand awareness and drive demand for VP's of Engineering, CTOs and Developers, introducing a compelling narrative and translating complex technical value to the target audience.
- Work cross functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success and Sales to envision launch strategies, drive campaigns and turn prospective customers into long term success stories.
- Implement KPIs and analytical assessment to enhance strategies and inform future story narratives and assess pipeline attribution, funnel metrics and improve CAC and LTV.
Key Requirements:
- Hands on senior leadership experience driving demand generation, leads and creating brand awareness for developer-focused products. Including creating B2B campaigns specifically designed to target senior technology leaders in the industry.
- Proven track record scaling early-stage companies from Series A though to sale as the first Marketeer.
- Strong product positioning and messaging skills, driving product-led growth and ability to convey messaging into the market.
- Experience building multi-channel demand campaigns across paid social and media, OOH, email, SMS, CRM, events and more to gain brand traction in the market.
- Have an understanding of AI/ML and developer productivity tools and requirements to translate this into compelling marketing campaigns.
- Experience leading small, but nimble teams and ability to grow and leverage talent to create a successful division.
- Happy to travel to in-person meetings for the first month and then every 6 weeks after for senior leadership meetings.
