Location: Caribbean


Please Note: This is a full-time international position based in the Caribbean. It offers relocation support, including a housing allowance, in an idyllic, expat-friendly location.

Our client, a fast-growing restaurant group in the Caribbean, is seeking an experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead both revenue generation and brand growth across multiple venues.


This is a unique opportunity to shape the commercial direction of an ambitious, expanding group while living and working in a world-class island destination. You’ll work directly with ownership and the executive team to drive sales performance, strengthen partnerships, and build a powerful brand presence.


Position Overview


As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that grow revenue, enhance customer engagement, and elevate brand visibility. This dual-focus role requires a dynamic leader who is equally comfortable closing business deals, guiding creative campaigns, and leading cross-functional teams.

You will own both the sales strategy—focusing on group bookings, partnerships, and business development—and the marketing strategy, ensuring consistent, compelling brand storytelling across all customer touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue across multiple restaurant locations.
  • Lead initiatives to secure group bookings, corporate partnerships, private events, and local collaborations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key business partners, hotels, travel and tourism organizations, and event planners.
  • Identify new market opportunities, negotiate key contracts, and manage the full sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance to align pricing, promotions, and offerings with profitability goals.


Marketing Strategy & Brand Management

  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns that align with the company’s sales goals and brand vision.
  • Manage all digital marketing channels, including social media, email, SEO/SEM, and paid advertising.
  • Direct creative initiatives that strengthen brand identity across in-venue experiences, media, and events.
  • Partner with culinary and operations teams to promote new menu launches, seasonal campaigns, and special events.
  • Lead PR, influencer, and community engagement strategies to enhance visibility and reputation.
  • Monitor analytics, campaign results, and market trends to optimize performance and ROI.


Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small in-house team covering both sales and marketing functions.
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and media partners.
  • Own the combined sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and measurable returns.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the executive team on performance, opportunities, and strategic direction.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of leadership experience in Sales & Marketing, ideally within the restaurant, hospitality, or F&B industries.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and brand expansion through integrated commercial strategies.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise, including experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability and a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience leading teams and managing budgets.
