Title: Visual Effects Artist/Engineer, Technical Artist
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 month contract + extensions (very likely to extend to 1+ year)
Must haves:
- 5 - 8 years of experience as technical artist/visual effects
- Expert in Adobe After Effects including enhancing footage with effects, overlays, and animated elements.
- MUST COME FROM FILM OR GAMING INDUSTRY!
- Familiarity with other Adobe creative cloud tools like Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Strong understanding of compositing, keyframing, and animation principles.
- Strong experience creating and using After Effects templates and expressions
About the Role
Our client is building a new AI Group, and looking for VFX experts to help shape the future of AI-driven visual storytelling. This team is focused on creating high-fidelity, cinematic-quality effects similar to what you’d see in AAA games or films like Life of Pi—think realistic water simulations, particle effects, and immersive environments.
We’re looking for a VFX Technical Artist / Visual Effects Engineer with deep experience in Adobe After Effects, compositing, and animation principles. If you’ve worked on AAA titles (e.g., Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Star Wars) or feature films, this is the kind of work we’re building toward.
Important Note
We are not looking for motion designers focused on commercial-style animation (e.g., text overlays, product promos). This role is centered on cinematic VFX, not marketing visuals.
