About The Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Eleventh Hour Games, you will serve as a key member of the QA team, owning the testing process and ensuring the highest quality standards for Last Epoch. This role requires a deep understanding of action role-playing games (ARPGs), with a specific focus on the mechanics and gameplay of Last Epoch. You will be responsible for manual testing, risk assessment, and quality evaluation across various stages of development, working closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders. The position offers autonomy and requires excellent communication skills, as you will be working remotely with a fully distributed team. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of the game, ensuring a bug-free and polished experience for players across all platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a QA-focused role within a gaming company
- Successful track record with manual testing processes
- Ability to own features, analyze risks, and communicate status effectively
- Strong troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Professional experience with game development tools such as game engines, Confluence, issue tracking databases, etc.
- Demonstrable experience with ARPGs, preferably with Last Epoch
Responsibilities
- Manually test new features and bug fixes within the build and Unity Editor environment
- Create, own, and maintain comprehensive test plans and documentation for complex features and systems
- Translate feature requirements into effective and efficient test cases
- Collaborate with developers to investigate issues and gather relevant information for troubleshooting
- Integrate into feature teams as an embedded analyst, maintaining clear communication channels and providing detailed reports to stakeholders
- Assist in verifying release candidate builds and ensure quality standards are met
- Verify that fixes are correctly implemented throughout the product lifecycle in both consumer and development environments
- Work with product owners, developers, and QA management to define acceptance criteria and identify potential risks
- Plan testing coverage for upcoming features and releases
- Investigate player-reported bugs and generate comprehensive, understandable reports for developers
