Overview
Our client, a leading digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior Agile Delivery Manager to join its growing team.
In this senior consulting role, you will lead the delivery of complex digital products and services while embedding Agile and Lean principles within multidisciplinary teams. Acting as a servant leader, you’ll empower teams to deliver value efficiently, coach clients on best practice, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Delivery
- Build, support, and motivate high-performing Agile teams across client and consultancy projects.
- Facilitate core ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and show-and-tells.
- Identify and remove delivery obstacles, ensuring smooth progress and alignment to priorities.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines to maintain focus on outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement, fostering adaptability and innovation.
Coaching and Collaboration
- Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile and Lean methodologies.
- Encourage a user-centred mindset throughout all phases of delivery.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams, promoting transparency and shared ownership.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring clarity between business, technical, and design functions.
Strategic and Operational Contribution
- Support delivery at scale across multiple workstreams or large programmes.
- Contribute to the Delivery Management Community of Practice, sharing insights and shaping organisational delivery standards.
- Act as a line manager, supporting professional growth and wellbeing within your teams.
About You
Essential Experience
- Proven track record of delivering complex digital projects within Agile environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile project management and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
- Experience leading cross-functional or hybrid client-consultancy teams.
- Skilled in using collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Miro, or Confluence).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of user-centred design (UCD) principles and practices.
Desirable
- Experience delivering services for public sector or government organisations.
- Familiarity with GDS service standards and assessment phases (Discovery, Alpha, Beta, Live).
- Experience navigating policy, regulation, or governance frameworks in large organisations.
