Overview
Our client, a leading digital consultancy, is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their expanding team.
In this role, you will work at the intersection of business strategy, user needs, and digital innovation, turning complex problems into clear, actionable solutions. You will be instrumental in defining requirements, facilitating collaboration across disciplines, and ensuring products and services meet both organisational objectives and user expectations.
This position is ideal for a Business Analyst with experience in Agile, user-centred environments who is looking to develop towards a senior level in a supportive and growth-oriented consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex business problems and recommend effective solutions that improve services and products.
- Plan and facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment on objectives and outcomes.
- Document and analyse business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Gather, define, and manage user and business requirements, translating them into clear deliverables for teams.
- Collaborate with designers and researchers to create and test prototypes that meet user needs.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Delivery Managers to prioritise backlogs and manage workflows.
- Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure they meet user expectations.
- Promote and apply Agile business analysis practices, encouraging iterative delivery and collaboration.
- Share best practices within the Business Analysis community, contributing to professional development and continuous improvement.
- Occasionally travel to client sites to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
About You
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an Agile or user-centred design environment.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with designers and researchers.
- Proficient in requirements gathering and management, selecting appropriate techniques for varying contexts.
- Analytical thinker, comfortable working with data and research insights to inform decisions.
- Skilled in documenting and improving business processes using modelling techniques.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to align diverse perspectives.
Desirable Skills
- Awareness of Government Digital Service (GDS) standards or equivalent frameworks.
- Experience in consultancy or client-facing environments.
- Knowledge of data-driven decision-making and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery tools and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
