We are seeking enthusiastic and empathetic individuals to join our on-site team in the vibrant city of Porto, Portugal. As a French-Speaking Customer Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for users and healthcare professionals regarding advanced medical devices used in diabetes management. This is a crucial role focused on providing high-quality technical support, product information, and superior customer care to the French-speaking market.



Key Responsibilities


  • Customer Support: Handle inbound and outbound contacts (primarily via telephone, but also email and chat) from users and healthcare professionals in France, offering assistance with product inquiries, technical troubleshooting, and general product information related to the medical devices.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Guide customers through step-by-step technical procedures to resolve issues with their devices (e.g., connectivity problems, setup assistance, general functionality).
  • Information Provision: Accurately explain the features, benefits, and correct usage of the diabetes management devices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document all interactions and resolutions accurately and thoroughly in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, adhering to strict quality and regulatory standards specific to the medical sector.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality in all communications, ensuring compliance with data privacy (GDPR) and medical device regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate actively in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on product changes, new features, and procedural updates.
  • Escalation Management: Identify and appropriately escalate complex technical or regulatory issues to specialized support teams when necessary.


Essential Requirements


  • Language Skills:
  • French: Native or near-native fluency (C2 level) – mandatory. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for clear and empathetic support.
  • English: Good working proficiency (B2 level minimum) – required for internal communication, training, and documentation.
  • Location Commitment: Must be willing and able to relocate to and work on-site in Porto, Portugal.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent active listening, empathy, and patience.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, especially regarding medical documentation.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach to customer service.
Desirable (Good to Have)
  • Experience: Previous professional experience in a customer service, technical support, contact center, or medical environment is highly advantageous, though not strictly mandatory. Full training will be provided.
  • Technical Aptitude: A basic understanding or interest in medical technology, digital health, or technical devices is a plus.
