This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP, Commercial IT (Remote) in the United States.

As the VP of Commercial IT, you will lead the enterprise-wide Salesforce strategy, architecture, and execution, ensuring the technology aligns with business objectives and drives measurable value. You will oversee multi-cloud Salesforce implementations, platform governance, and innovation initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to guide cross-functional teams and manage vendor relationships. You will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable and compliant Salesforce solutions. The position offers the opportunity to shape digital transformation initiatives and lead a high-performing IT organization in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise Salesforce vision and roadmap, aligning with business goals and long-term scalability
  • Lead planning, implementation, and governance of Salesforce initiatives to maximize value delivery and platform performance
  • Oversee functional and technical teams across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom development
  • Ensure architectural integrity, clean configuration, and integration with enterprise systems and data platforms
  • Drive innovation through Salesforce multi-cloud capabilities, automation, AI, and analytics to optimize business processes
  • Serve as a key advisor to business leaders, translating strategic goals into Salesforce solutions that enhance customer experience and efficiency
  • Manage relationships with vendors, system integrators, and third-party providers, ensuring compliance and scalability
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Salesforce delivery team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement


Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 15+ years of enterprise technology leadership experience, including 5+ years leading large-scale Salesforce programs
  • Proven success delivering multi-cloud Salesforce implementations and enterprise application integrations
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, governance, and platform capabilities
  • Salesforce Administrator (ADM201) certification required; additional Salesforce certifications preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing distributed teams and influencing executive stakeholders
  • Ability to drive innovation, optimize processes, and deliver scalable technology solutions in complex environments
